Basharat is a Solicitor and a Solicitor Advocate [All Proceedings]. Basharat graduated from the University of Sheffield and completed his Legal Practice Course [LPC] at the College of Law Store Street London. Prior to founding Aman Solicitors Advocates Basharat practiced, firstly, as an employed Solicitor and thereafter as a freelance Solicitor Advocate. Basharat has experience of dealing with cases involving immigration, criminal, civil, family, libel and education law.
Basharat has appeared as an advocate in tribunals and courts in England and Wales including the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords. Basharat is a leading Immigration Solicitor and Advocate and has been instrumental in the amendment of Home Office policy as well as the development of case law. Basharat has represented clients in the Special Immigration Appeals Commission [SIAC] and clients who have successfully sued the Home Office for compensation due to the Home Office unlawfully detaining them.
Basharat was a member of the Law Society Immigration Law Panel and is accredited as a Senior Caseworker and Supervisor according to the Legal Services Commission Accreditation of Immigration lawyers. Basharat is a recognised expert in the field of immigration, asylum and nationality law.

Raheel graduated from the University of Leicester, having studied Economics and Law. Raheel completed his Legal Practice Course at the College of Law Store Street London. Prior to joining Aman Solicitors Advocates Raheel was the supervisor in the immigration department at the solicitors firm that he was employed by. Raheel has extensive experience in Immigration, Asylum and Nationality law, especially in entry clearance matters. Raheel is accredited as a Senior Caseworker and Supervisor according to the Legal Services Commission Accreditation of Immigration lawyers.
Raheel is the head of the Personal Injury Team in the London office. Raheel also has some experience of Criminal and Civil Law.

Adnan is a Solicitor and a Solicitor Advocate [Civil Proceedings]. He graduated with a law degree in 1999 following which he completed his Legal Practice Course at the BPP Law School, London. Adnan then completed his training contract with a large law practice based in North Kensington where he specialized primarily in immigration and public law and civil litigation. He was later appointed the team leader of the In-House Advocacy team. Adnan was also the solicitor with conduct of a number of High Court cases as well as a high profile case before the Court of Appeal and House of Lords.
In 2006 Adnan then joined Aman Solicitors Advocates as an in-house advocate. Adnan represented the firm’s clients in courts around the country and was himself the advocate in two reported decisions before the Asylum & Immigration Tribunal. Adnan was also involved in a number of cases before the higher courts including the House of Lords and the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).
Adnan then, in 2007, moved to a City based practice where he headed the Litigation and Immigration and departments. Adnan had conduct of a vast range of commercial litigation matters before the High Court Chancery Division and Commercial Court, covering property litigation, commercial contracts, insolvency and ADR. One such case involved a breach of contract claim against a government department to the value of £3m and a counterclaim of £6m.
Towards the end of 2009 Adnan rejoined the team at Aman Solicitors Advocates where he is currently head of the Litigation and Wills Departments. He has conduct of a wide range of civil and commercial litigation cases including charity proceedings. Adnan also continues to deal with immigration and public law matters of a specialised nature including matters before SIAC, the higher courts and the European Court of Human Rights.

Saad Saeed joined Aman Solicitors Advocates in 2004 and has been part of the immigration team since then. Saad is currently the head of the immigration department in the Luton branch and the head of the employment department.
Saad can speak fluent Urdu, moderate German and basic French. Saad maintains a good relationship with his clients and is proud of being able to provide them with clear and helpful advice throughout their cases.
Saad has over 10 years of experience in immigration law and over 6 years of experience in employment law. In his employment practice Saad has represented individuals and business alike and secured excellent results for both sets of clients.
Saad has represented a wide client base, ranging from asylum seekers from Europe, Asia, Africa, South and Central America, through to businessmen, a doctor’s practise and a charity. Saad has particular expertise in European law and the “Ankara Agreement”.
Saad also has 7 years of experience of representing clients at appeal hearings in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal and the Employment Tribunal. Saad was the instructing solicitor in landmark cases such as Bibi and others v ECO [2007] EWCA Civ 740, ECO v NH (India) v ECO [2007] EWCA Civ 1330, EN (Serbia) v SSHD [2009] EWCA Civ 630, and SM (India) v ECO [2009] EWCA Civ 1426. Saad is also instructed by other solicitors to represent their clients in the Immigration and Asylum Chamber in the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal. Saad has made applications to the duty judge in the High Court and obtained emergency injunctions on behalf of clients at short notice.

Richard Young is a Solicitor. He read law and graduated with a First Class Honours degree in 1999. Mr Young then successfully completed a Master’s degree in law, graduating with Merit in the year 2000. He then completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law and was subsequently Called to the Bar by Gray’s Inn. Mr Young later completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test to cross-qualify as a Solicitor and was admitted as a Solicitor on 1 November 2007.
Since the beginning of 2003, Mr Young has worked in the fields of immigration law, human rights law, administrative law and civil litigation. He has also dealt with some family law cases. He undertakes advocacy before the First-tier and Upper Tribunals of the Immigration and Asylum Chamber. Mr Young has had conduct of cases in the Administrative Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
Mr Young is a supervisor and level 2 accredited caseworker under the Asylum and Immigration Accreditation Scheme.
